| In Early January, New Century Council was pleased to welcome the District Grand Prefect and the District Team to the Installation Meeting of New Century Council meeting at Southport Masonic Hall. |

| After being welcomed by the W.M. David Southward, the District Prefect Bill Seddon introduced the District Officers. |

| Amongst the District Team was the Grand Junior Deacon, although on his Grand Tour, William Richmond on this occasion was also attending as a member District Team, being the District Treasurer. |
| The next business was the Installation as Master. |

| Bro. Mark Barton was then Installed as Master of the Council for the ensuing year by David Southward. |
| Following the Installation, Bill Seddon the District Grand Prefect congratulated Mark on becoming Master of New Century Council, wishing him well for the future. |
| He also commented on the high standard of Ritual worked in the Ceremony of Installation thanking David Southward on the excellence of the work carried out. |
